            Welcome to Alcester U3A

U3A (University of the Third Age) is a UK movement of retired and semi-retired people who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment.

Alcester U3A was set up in 1992 and now has 200 members. It was the first of five local U3as covering South Warwickshire, and has established a reputation for being friendly and welcoming. Anyone not in full-time work and living within easy reach of Alcester may join. The subscription is £15 renewable in January each year. A reduced rate is offered to those joining later in the year; (see membership page for details).

We meet monthly, on the first Tuesday of each month, at 2.30pm at the Jubilee Centre in Alcester. We have a guest speaker and the afternoon concludes with tea/coffee and biscuits. Visitors are welcome to attend at a charge of £2.00. Our programme for 2018/19 can be seen on the Monthly Speakers page.

There are also a variety of interest groups to join and other activities including theatre visits and coach trips.
